Have you ever built up a moment in your mind? Built it up to something huge, looming in fact. So much so that you were apprehensive?
Yesterday, July 28th, 2019, was just such a day.
I had agonized over the menus and shopping list, obsessed over the perfect pans, knives, spatulas, spices and even proper chef attire. Then the moment came. Groceries unloaded and arranged with care, pans in place and when it was time to commence, it happened, before I was even aware.
The realization that the last 20 + years have brought me to this moment and it was the most natural moment of my life (aside from the first moment I viewed my love in the rear view mirror of my Ford escort).
All of the burnt tofu 🤢 bitter soups, finger cuts, tears of frustration, disdainful comments as the to the lack of Bacon in my diet, subjective fears about dying of a protein deficiency and most of all the work and diligence I’ve put into my crush, Plant Based Culinary Delights.
So in that moment of apprehensive, insecurity I found it. The moment of opportunity. I was doing what I love and sharing my passion.
