Why I Can't Sleep and When It All Began

I know it will happen before the first welcome waves of sleep wash over. At some point I will wake, and then it’s all over, for sleep that is. My mind takes over and soon I’m at your house, with my tools, a counter full of food I shopped for you with the smell of pure bliss filling the air.

For years now I’ve been coming to my friends and family’s house, bringing my own ingredients and cooking up a veritable storm of plant based cullinary delights. I do it for the pure joy of sharing what i’ve come to adore.

It all began in my Mom’s kitchen when I was just a tater tot. I asked her if I could cook something and she showed me how to cook boiled cabbage. Over the years she would foster my passion for cooking, giving me a copy of the Fanny Farmer cookbook for a wedding present. It’s no wonder she has never left me, she is with me every step of the way as I lovingly transform plant based ingredients into the satisfying meals that leave me thinking about crafting the next meal before I’m even done the present.

For some time now I’ve been dreaming of working as a Vegan Chef in a restaurant, but it wasn’t until my dear Friends Sondra and Ben Kelley proved to me it was possible. And now I’m taking the first steps in my own Journey.
